The Stara Zagora RETRO Car Club warmly invites you on 3 October 2026.
In the heart of Bulgaria, in Stara Zagora — a city with more than 8,000 years of history — a shared passion for motoring history brings thousands of people together for the 21st time.
Everyone who loves classic and vintage machinery is welcome, along with the people of our city and everyone visiting it. Come and share the magic of the classics with us, and help write the next chapter of our motoring heritage.
Founded in 1990 — one of the oldest car clubs in Bulgaria
Our club was founded back in 1990 and is one of the oldest in Bulgaria. It brings together owners of vintage vehicles from all over the country and across Europe.
Every classic car has its own story, its own character and a smell you never forget. For us a car is not a way of getting from A to B, and not a pile of thousands of parts — it has a soul.
Since 1990, through 20 carefully organised events, the club has become a benchmark for collectors and enthusiasts from all over Bulgaria and the neighbouring countries, turning Stara Zagora into the country's capital of classic motoring.
We keep the machines. We tell the stories. We carry on the tradition.

A classic car show with live rock music in Stara Zagora. Out in the open air, the cars on display make time stand still for a few hours and take you straight back to the 20th century.

In an age of quick turnover, the ability to give yourself over to slower pleasures becomes ever more valuable.
There was a time when things were built as if they were meant to last forever. Buildings had high ceilings, heavy doors and façades that still make you stop and look up. Libraries were quiet palaces of wood and books. Clocks on the walls didn't just show the hour — they ticked, reminding you that time was passing.
The smallest details mattered just as much. Slip behind the wheel of a car from those years — an MG MGA Roadster, say — and you realise nothing about it was left to chance. It doesn't try hard to impress with luxury. It simply has class.
Today you touch a display and everything happens by itself. Back then you turned a key or pulled a lever and felt the whole mechanism working behind the gesture. Perhaps that's what we miss today — not the machinery, but the sense that someone poured time and soul into making something beautiful.
A classic car is an escape from the present — admiration for craftsmanship, class and an aesthetic that time cannot touch.

Twenty editions behind us. Each one left behind a frame worth living through again.

Classic cars, real emotion and an atmosphere you have to experience — here are some scenes from a previous edition of the meet.
Stara Zagora
On 3 October, Artillery Park turns into an open-air motor museum where generations, stories and machines from very different eras all meet in one place.
The meet happens thanks to people and companies who believe in the motoring history of Stara Zagora.
